The Website of Liam Davies

Author - Editor - Creative Writing

In Brief...

I write about the things we can’t thinking about — even when (perhaps) we should.

Whether it’s horror films, nature, spirituality, the thing on the end of the fork, or the flicker of something uncanny in the everyday, my work explores compulsion, fear, identity and the rituals that make us human.

My nonfiction blends memoir with cultural criticism — autism, cinema, music, food — while my fiction walks the crooked line between literary horror and speculative storytelling.

Expect raw honesty, lyrical tangents, and the occasional nervous laugh.
